Halifax Art Festival, which is held in early November, is the second oldest continual art festival in the state and Central Florida’s premier event for holiday shopping. Visitors can peruse art along Beach Street or enjoy the many riverfront shops.
The Greek Festival, also held in early November, is a multi-day event filled with authentic Greek food, music and dancing, as well as riverfront tables for sipping wine, ouzo and other libations. Plus, there are great gifts and souvenirs to be had at its Greek Marketplace.
If you prefer to be a May bride, Cinco de Mayo offers beachfront parties, live music and lots of fun.
Of course, for race fans, there is also the Daytona 500, and February is a beautiful time to visit Florida.
